Paul Leon Michelet

Paul Leon Michelet, beloved husband, father, grandfather, passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on April 22, 1956, Paul lived a life filled with love and laughter.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife of more than 40 years, Suzette (Walden) Michelet, his daughters Rebecca and Jennifer (husband John Vititoe), and his grandchildren Isabella, Gianna, and Brayden. He was preceded in death by his mother, Adine (Delrosa) Michelet.
Retired from a successful career in banking, Paul found great joy in retirement, spending his days on the golf course, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Beyond his personal pursuits, Paul was a dedicated member of his community, always eager to lend a helping hand. He volunteered, giving his time and energy to various events throughout the city.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at St. Angela Merici Church in Metairie, LA. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM in honor of Paul's memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Paul's name to First Tee of Greater New Orleans or Son of Saint, organizations that held special significance to him.
Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
