Jack Frank Gagliano

Jack Gagliano was a resident of Metairie, La. He was a proud alumnus of Holy Cross High School Class of 1978. Jack enjoyed and was an outstanding sports fan. He was a completist associated with comic books, Jack reveled his comics and got enjoyment traveling to the comic book conventions. Also, Jack was co-owner of Frank’s Restaurant. Moreover, the two things close to Jack’s heart was the love of family and food. He loved to socialize with all his friends at Mayan Cigar Shop.

Jack was preceded in death by his father Frank Gagliano Sr. Jack will be sadly missed by his beloved mother Phylis R. Gagliano. Also, he will be deeply missed by his siblings, Joseph Gagliano (Hetty) Frank Gagliano Jr. (Gina) Philip Gagliano (Mary) and Anna G. Saputo (Albert). His nieces and nephews share in this sadness-Leona Saputo, Phylis Gagliano (godchild), Toni Gagliano, Frank Gagliano III, Vincent Gagliano, Joseph Saputo, and Mary Frances Gagliano, along with Jack’s companion Brenda Brunet Gagliano. The family appreciates the Sisters of Mercy -Sr. Nicholas and Sr. Evelyn, and close friend, William (Willy) King.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, on Sunday, March 24, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Mass will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
